Setting up the device in the Child role (iOS)
In order for the app to work properly, you need to set permissions when connecting your child's device to your account.
Setting up the app is as easy as possible for the user. The app describes the need to configure permissions, the user just has to follow the instructions offered by the app. The user should grant all requested permissions in order for the application to work properly. The entire setup takes no more than 2-3 minutes.
Requested permissions:
“Location”: if you want to track your child's location and set geofences, once breached, you will receive a notification on your phone;
“Access to photos”: if you want to see the latest photos taken by your child;
“Access to contacts”: if you want to see and manage contacts on your child's smartphone.
Next, follow the instructions to install the mobile device management profile (MDM profile).
The Parental Control Kroha app leverages the MDM profile to provide control over the device and restrict access to unwanted content on the device.
Refer to the video tutorial for instructions on how to install the profile.
