How to get Parental Control Kroha running in the background on Samsung (Android 9 - 10)?

First, on your child's device, open the Parental Control Kroha app > Tap the gear icon > tap “Edit Parental Restrictions” > Enter the PIN code > If any setup guide appears, go through it.

Then open the Parental Control Kroha app on your child's device > Tap the gear icon > tap “Temporary deactivate for 2 minutes” > Enter the PIN code. This is to ensure that the settings on your child's device are not locked for 2 minutes, and you can check them.

Next, check the power saving settings. To do this, use the following instructions:

  • Open the Settings app on your child's device > Open Apps section > Tap the menu icon (three vertical dots) in the top corner of the screen > Select Special Access Rights > Go to Optimize Battery Consumption > Find Parental Control Kroha in the list and turn off the switch (do not optimize);

  • Go back to the root menu of the Settings app > Device care section > Go to Battery > Background Restrictions > Check if the Parental Control Kroha app has been added to standby apps.

  • Also, under Device care section go to Battery and open > Power Mode > Select High Performance and disable Adaptive Power Mode > Go back a step and in the top corner of the screen click on the menu icon (three vertical dots) > Open the Settings menu > Disable all toggles.
