App lock in categories does not work (Android)

For the most correct operation of the service, we recommend installing the free Advanced version.

If your child's device information is unable to update, blockers do not work, messengers fail to update, or you have received a disabling permissions notice, please check the settings below.

The instructions below should be followed properly for correct operation:

1. Follow the instructions carefully when initially installing the app on your child's device.

Setting up the app is as easy as possible for the user. The app takes the user to each required setting and the user needs to follow the instructions offered by the app. The user should grant all requested permissions in order for the application to work properly. The entire setup takes no more than 1-2 minutes.

2. It is important to have the Internet activated on the child's device and the parent's device. These settings are made once and the settings are applied between devices over the Internet.

3. It is necessary to set up Autorun for the Parental Control Kroha app on your child's device.

If the app does not start automatically when you reboot or turn on your child's device, it will not execute its functions.

4. You need to configure the Parental Control Kroha application to run in the background.

In order for the app to be always active on your child's smartphone and perform its functions, you need to set it to run in the background.

5. Disable power saving/battery optimization mode for the Parental Control Kroha app. We recommend reading the energy saving instruction manual

Important! Please note that different manufacturers may display the ability to control autorun, optimization, power saving mode and other options in the smartphone settings differently. In order to get the instructions on how to set up a particular device model, we recommend reading the energy saving instruction or contact our support at support@parental-control.net. Please note that you can apply for instructions on how to set up a particular device model properly in the application itself.
